TLIC4006 – Drive Multi-Combination Vehicle

confidence to operate multi-combination (MC) vehicles. This course focuses on safe driving techniques, on-road practical training with experienced assessors, and a comprehensive theory assessment.

To enroll, you must hold a valid WA C-class licence for at least 3 years and a Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) licence for at least 1 year. Additionally, a DoT-required eye test and disclosure of any medical conditions are mandatory.

Course Structure

  • re-Course Theory Assessment Must be completed before beginning practical training.
  • 2-Day Practical Training (One-on-One) Hands-on, on-road instruction with a qualified and accredited trainer/assessor.
  • On-Road Final Assessment Conducted on-site by a Department of Transport (DoT) approved assessor.

Eligibility Criteria

To enrol in this course, you must:

Hold a valid WA C-class driver’s licence for a minimum of 3 years

DoT Eye Test

  • An eye test is required to meet DoT commercial vehicle standards.
  • If you wear glasses or contact lenses, you must wear them during the test.
  • If you do not pass, training cannot proceed until you are cleared by the DoT or present a letter from your optometrist.

  • Please disclose any medical conditions that may impact your training before confirming your booking.
  • Your case may be referred to the DoT for medical clearance.
  • Additional assessments may be required before training can commence.
